2024 Presidential Candidates by age
It’s a little hypocritical IMHO to ding Biden for his age when you consider that almost half the candidates running (7 out of 16) would be older than Ronald Reagan when they started. This view from last time is interesting because it really highlights how. damn. old. everyone is!

Meanwhile, my man Jim Gilmore, despite coming in last, losing to 3 people not running, says “his plan is to be in South Carolina on Wednesday morning”1. You have to admire that kind of perseverance.

Republican Debate #1 – thoughts
The first chance we had to see the key occupants of the Republican clown car in a single forum didn’t disappoint. It was well run (not a small feat considering there were 10 people on stage), the grandstanding was minimized, we got to see some hand to hand combat and most importantly, it was informative – we got to learn more about almost all of the candidates to understand who Hillary will stomp next fall.
For me, almost everyone came off with a worse impression than what I came in with.
